Os mapas tipográficos estão na moda

Em vez de se desenharem os contornos dos países com linhas bem definidas, os criadores destes mapas (Axis Maps)substituíram essas linhas por palavras: nomes de ruas, nomes de países, nomes de cidades, etc., dando origem aquilo a que denominaram de "mapas tipográficos".
